Work Schedule: Weekday, weekend, days and evening

Under the supervision of the chef, the essential responsibilities and functions of this position are, but not limited to:
Washing, maintenance and storage of dishes according to a cleaning plan.
Washing and storing all the dishes and glassware of all the restaurants.
Washing and storing all the utensils and large kitchen material.
Cleaning the restaurant service premises.
Compliance with the applicable hygiene requirements.
Compliance with the establishment’s safety requirements.
Help the kitchen staff with food preparation when needed.

Ability to work as a team or alone.
Ability to manipulate chemical products and store them appropriately in a safe place.
Ability to signal any accident immediately to a supervisor.
Ability to ensure the cleanliness of dishes, pots and pans and other equipment for their daily use.
Maintain the cleanliness and good working order of kitchen appliances.
Ensure the cleanliness of the premises and clean them immediately when required.
Apply and master this function’s quality standards.
Ability to clean dust, scrub floors and polish equipment in the following places:—fridges—kitchens.
Bilingual is considered an advantage;
Ability to move a lot and stand for prolonged periods;
Available to work during the day, nights and weekends, depending on the requirements;
Knowledge of material (silverware, porcelain, glassware, etc.) is considered an advantage.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques (dishwashers, chemicals, etc.) is considered an advantage.
Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards.
Physical aspects of the position: Stand and walk for the entire duration of the work shift
Visa requirements: must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
